Andres Abad Dela Cruz, 79, of Naalehu died Dec. 31 at home. Born in Vigan, Philippines, he was a retired laborer for the former Ka‘u Sugar Co., worked for MacFarms of Hawaii and was a member of Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church. All-night vigil 5 p.m. Friday (Jan. 26) at the family home, 94-1504 Puka St., Naalehu. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 27) at Naalehu Sacred Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcomed. Burial at Naalehu Community Cemetery. Esther Carino Duldulao, 89, of Pahoa died Jan. 2 at Hale Anuenue Care Center in Hilo. Born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she worked for Kuwahara Anthurium Farm and was a member of Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 27) at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Burial at Pahoa Catholic Cemetery. Gregory A. Ikeda, 62, of Hilo died Jan. 17 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaii County police officer and member of New Hope-Hilo Church.
